Although I live in Madrid I was born and raised in Venezuela. My country is going through one of its most difficult stages. Without getting into political details that have nothing to do with this blog, today I'm going to a protest demonstration of Venezuelans who live here.
La mayoría se presenta a este tipo de eventos con gorras, camisetas, banderas y otros complementos alusivos a los colores patrios... y yo no tengo nada de eso aquí :(
Pues ni corta ni perezosa, me tejí en un ratito un collar patrótico venezolano y éste fue el resultado.
Most people go to these events with caps, shirts, flags and other accessories allusive to the national colors ... and I have none of that here :(
Well, I set to work and crocheted myself a Venezuelan patriotic necklace and this was the result.
Me gusta mucho cómo quedó... y por cierto,
no es casualidad que el nudo esté en el rojo ;)
